Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific resume flights to Taiwan as travel ban lifted


Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) and budget airline Cebu Pacific (CebPac) will again flights to and from Taiwan after the Philippine government lifted the travel ban.


The Philippine government decided to lift the travel ban on Taiwan after a cabinet meeting on the Feb 14th.

Cebu Pacific flights will resume starting Feb 17, it will have one flight from Manila on Monday and only arrival flights from Taiwan beginning Feb 18 and two flights from Manila and two from Taiwan by Feb 21, in an advisory.

Cebu Pacific passengers are being notified that the travel to Taiwan have resumed.

On the other hand, Philippine Airlines announced in an advisory that Taiwan flights will begin February 21. Flights will be four times a week - Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday until February 29.


PAL daily flights will resume March 1, announced in their advisory. Passengers of PR890 and PR891 flights may start rebooking to and from Taiwan.
