Taiwan's SPIL Taichung opens hundreds of job vacancies for Filipinos, no placement fee

Nearly a thousand job vacancies in Taiwan are open to qualified Filipino workers, the Department of Labor and Employment said.

Silicon Precision Industries Co. Ltd. (SPIL) in Taichung City needs 779 additional workers in its factories.

“The vacancies are contained in the Job Orders of SPIL that were submitted to POLO-Taichung this week for verification,” according to Labor Attaché Fidel Macauyag of the Philippine Labor Office in Taichung

SPIL is one of the leading providers of comprehensive semiconductor assembly and test services in the world. Their products include advanced leadframe and substrate-based packages, which are widely used in computers, tablets, cellular phones, set-top boxes, and LCD monitors.

POLO-Taichung awarded SPIL a plaque of recognition for currently employing more than 3,500 overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), with a free placement fee, monthly broker’s service fee, medical and other fees.

Macauyag also lauded SPIL for its continued preference for Filipinos to be part of its workforce in past years.

Philippine recruitment agencies are JS Contractor, MIP International Manpower Services and Grand Placement & General Services.
