16-day Daan sand sculpture and music festival kicks off in Taiwan’s Taichung


Daan Sand Sculpture and Music Festival will be held at the Da-an Sea Theme Park starting June 27 with the life-like sculpture appears ultra-realistic from any angle.


The sand sculpture exhibition will be exhibited from June 27 to July 12, and an opening press conference will be held on the 27th. Then in the evening, there will be a concert of star-studded personalities. Come and play with the water, and experience the fun. Parent and child can also do a DIY sand sculpture.

Taichung’s Daan Coastal Park covers an area of 17 hectares where you can find beaches and soft sand. When low tide stretches hundreds of meters, a large stretch of sandy beach is suitable for summer wave.

Visitors can also experience surfing and kite surfing nearby. The city government upgrade the internal equipment to create the first coastal luxury camping area in Taiwan. After replacing it with a new look and meeting the local tourists, it will finally be officially put into trial operation in June this year.

There are rich tourism resources in Taichung’s coastal area which includes the Dajia Jenn Lann Temple, Niumatou Cultural Park, Dajia Old Street, Gaomei Wetland, Daan Coastal Park, and Wuqi Fishing Port.
