OFWs to Taiwan to pay expenses of quarantine once border re-open for migrant workers

Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) in Taiwan are lucky enough that the country is "safe" from COVID-19 as they still go to work and earn safely.

When Taiwan re-opens its border to migrant workers, quarantine must still be done to prevent spread of the virus.

Sadly, the expenses of qurantine like accomodation and food will be shouldered by migrant workers. It will depend if the employer is willing to shoulder the cost adding to the other fees which include placement fee, service fee and others.

Probably, the payment will be paid in advance to the manning agencies in the Philippines and would put more burden to Filipino workers seeking jobs overseas.
