Pinoy abroad who vaccinated with Astrazeneca's vaccine, experienced 'side effects'

A Filipino in the United States was one of those who underwent AztraZeneca's vaccine trials for their vaccine against COVID-19, admitted that they had "side effects".

A Filipino based in Portland, Oregon said that he and his wife were among the first group to voluntarily vaccinate in the United States for a ‘clinical trial’ using the AstraZeneca vaccine this December.

According to John Susi, who is 67 years old, 24 hours after they were vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine, her husband experienced nausea, weakness, diarrhea, and flu-like symptoms lasting 2 to 3 days.

In January this year, Susi received the second dose of the vaccine using AstraZeneca. For the second time, they did not feel dizzy or any side effects from the vaccine, in an interview by Brigada.

His participation in the ‘clinical trial’ is said to be a solidarity with the government to show that the vaccine is effective, safe and there is nothing to worry about the public.
