There are several Hot Pot Restaurants (Shabu-shabu) in Taiwan but one restaurant that gained attention from local and tourists is Mala Hot Pot. There are several branches of Mala Hot Pot in Taiwan but the ones in Ximending in Taipei City is the most visited one since the place is a shopping mecca.


It is a eat all you can hot pot restaurant, indulge with different kinds of meats, seafoods, veggies, ramen, fruits, different kinds of drinks and world class ice cream deserts. You were only allotted 2 hours to cook and eat everything you want from the wall of food. Customers may choose any 2 of any broths for you to cook with.


Although meat are limited like angus beef and the likes but this meat products are genuine and are good quality. There are also set meals if you want other kinds of order like lobster, cream dory fish and the likes. Delight with unlimited drinks like soda, juice, coffee, tea.


Customer favorite Haagen Daaz and Movenpick ice cream are also unlimited and will be the cream of the crop of your meal. We all know that a scoop or two of this brands costs NT100 (Php150). Some holiday may require a reservation since there are lots of customers but in a regular day, walk in may do.

Hot to go to Mala Hot Pot?
From Taipei Main Station, take MRT blue line to Ximen and walk through the shops until you find Mala Hot Pot, it is located on a 2nd floor but signs are all over, you won't miss it.
