Philippine local airline and budget carrier Cebu Pacific announced that it would suspend all flights between the Philippines and mainland China from Feb. 2 to March 29, 2020.
Flights to and from Beijing, Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are suspended until announced date.

"Passengers affected by flight cancellations have been notified through the contact details provided upon booking. They may also check the status of their flights through the Manage Booking portal in the Cebu Pacific website," the Gokongwei-led airline said in a statement.
Additionally, the airline is also reducing its flight frequencies between the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macau.
"We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank our passengers for their understanding," the airline said.
Passengers of the canceled flights may rebook within 30 days of original travel date, opt for full refund or place it in a travel fund for future use.
