TESDA offers free skills training to repatriated OFWs

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) now opens its free skills training registration to overseas Filipino workers who have been displaced and forced to return home in the country due to coronavirus pandemic.

The TESDA said, through its  “Tesda Abot Lahat ang OFWs,” program, repatriates will be given the opportunity to access many of the TESDA's services.

The agency announced that it is now accepting OFW applicants through online for the agency's free skills training. The offer was first made public by Tesda Director General Isidro S. Lapeña in a virtual consultation with migrant workers.

Interested OFWs can register online through the Tesda mobile app that can be downloaded on both Google Play Store and App Store for free.
