Pinoy OFW who recently entered Taiwan recorded as new imported case of COVID-19


Taiwan reported new imported case of COVID-19 who is a overseas Filipino worker (OFW) who recently entered Taiwan for work purposes announced by Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).


Case No. 491 is an OFW from the who showed no symptoms of the virus when he entered Taiwan, said CECC Spokesman Chuang Jen-hsiang. The man in his 30s arrived on Sept. 3, and nine fellow passengers were asked to isolate.

Aside from the Pinoy worker, a Taiwanese returning from work in Indonesia also recorded as COVID-19 positive who is Case No 492.

Out of the total 492 total cases, 400 were imported.

The command center reminded that when entering from abroad, if you have fever, cough and other uncomfortable symptoms, you should actively notify the airport and port quarantine personnel and cooperate with epidemic prevention measures.
