13 Filipinos Offloaded In NAIA Due To Fake Boarding Passes


13 Filipinos were intercepted and offloaded from leaving the country when they are caught with fake boarding passes at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Passenger Terminal 3, disclosed by the Bureau of Immigration.

According to an chief of BI Port operations division, the 13 individual are supposed to travel to HongKong when they are siezed in the airline counter of Cathay Pacific.

The 13 individuals consists of seven men and six women who are carrying only self-printed boarding passes and they are also not issued any flight itinerary.

These Filipinos are victims of scammers that sold airline tickets with a very cheap price and they are informed that the boarding passes they carry are not encoded to the system.


According to the victims, they didn’t know that their boarding passes were fake as they were only handed to them. They were also instructed to wear white shirts with the name of the herbal product printed and they are ordered to just take it off while they are cleared in the immigration area.

All the 13 passengers were forwarded to the agebcy that moved against human trafficking for further assistance and investigation regarding their case.
