Taiwan threatens to ban migrant Filipino workers in the next 3 years if travel ban continue


Sour relations poured from Taiwan and Philippine governments due to the imposed travel ban due to "One-China Policy." In a report by Apple Daily, a news agency in Taiwan, the country threaten to ban Filipino migrant workers in the next three years if the ban continues.


China's epidemic continues to spread, the travel ban cause hundreds of travelers to the Philippines are  blocked.

Citing one of the possible measure that Taiwan will implement is to ban Filipino workers in the next three years and eventually hire other nationals. 

Ministry of Labor is assessing of the possible freezing of hiring Filipino workers thought the the lanor department still hoping that the ban will be lifted.


Taiwan government believed that the action is only done by one person without the directive from President Rodrigo Duterte in the travel ban announced last Feb 10.
