Taoyuan ranks 18th world's best airport for 2020, NAIA missing on the list

According to the latest survey by UK based consultancy Skytrax, Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport  ranked 18th among the world's top airports for 2020, while Philippines' NAIA failed to snatch a place on the list.

Taiwan was down from No. 13 last year but this time, the country took the second place in terms of best airport immigration, up from No. 4 last year. The island was also sitted on the 10th place among the best airport security, down from No. 8, and decelerated two spots to No. 9 for best airport staff.

The Taoyuan airport failed to break into the top 10 in the categories of best airport shopping, best airport dining, best transit airports and cleanest airports.

Meanwhile, no Philippine airport made it to the World's Best Airport 2020 list by Skytrax. Changi Airport of Singapore, on the other hand, was voted by travellers as the world's best airport for eight consecutive year.

Last year, Ninoy Aquino International Airport was named one of the best airports for business travelers and ranked 44th on the Globehunter’s World’s Best Airports for Business Travelers list which chose the top 45 countries.
