One lucky Filipina nurse has just received her early Christmas gift after US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres personally surprised her with a brand new Hyundai car.
Pinay nurse Flor Maylyn Roz is based in Los Angeles, California where she and her family also live.
She takes care of COVID-19 patients as part of her duty but few months later she became one of them due to her exposure to the virus.
According to Roz, she and her husband only share in one car. Sometimes she ask her co-workers to fetch her but there are also times that she would rather walk or book a car in Uber.
That is why, when Ellen surprised her with a brand new car she can't help but to cry. She even She also described the moment to be “a very blessed way to end my 2020.”
Ellen said in one of her video uploaded on the official YouTube channel of The Ellen DeGeneres’ Show, they have been highlighting some incredible frontline workers all month long to show them appreciation for what they do.
