Two men from Taiwan's Nantou County have been caught violating home quarantine rule of the country as the two men were penalized for breaching the safety act.

The Nantou county government says one of the men recently returned from China, but
left his home twice with plans for a round-island trip as he has been fined NY$150,000.

The other man is a Dutch also living in Nantou, left his home and drove along the Central Cross-Island Highway to Hualien County.

The man claims that he was not notified of the need to isolate himself at home. Officials have held off on issuing fines while they investigate the man's claims.
