DOH announces five new recoveries and 3,094 total COVID-19 cases


The Department of Health on Saturday (April 4) delight people as it reports five newly recovered patients and 76 new cases of COVID-19 raising the country's total to 3,094.


Philippines now lists 57 total recoveries and 144 deaths as eight new fatalities have been announced.

Today's tally of new cases is the fewest number noted  since March 26, when 71 cases where reported. Over the last 7 days, additional cases have been reported in the hundreds.

Yesterday, Dr. Beverly Ho, Special Assistant to the Secretary, said in a virtual presser that the country has a higher chance of winning over this pandemic if each household will do their part by abiding with the government's order.
