93-year-old lolo helps grandchildren answer module; reads using magnifying glass

A 93-year-old grandfather from Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat is now trending online  because in spite of his age, he still manages to help his grandchildren study their learning modules and answer their worksheets.

In DepEd Tayo Soccsksargen Facebook Page, Lolo Bonifacio "Boning" Gedaya Santolaja, Sr. is said to be a volunteer treasurer of the Office of Senior Citizen (OSCA) in Tacurong City.

Whenever he has extra time from work as an officer, he will call his grandchildren to help them study their learning materials even if he does not know their specific lesson and no matter how small the letters are.

Lolo Boning would usually use his magnifying glass to read the lessons in the module and teach the kids as much as he can.

The loving grandpa was not able to finish his college but when he was studying he used to love accounting subjects in his BS Accountancy course. He may be an undergraduate, he was able to work as a cashier in one of the largest cooperatives in their region.
