Soldiers who lose their hands, legs in line of duty receives new hope

Despite the tragedy, Corporal Ariel "Prince" Reyes lost his hands and Sergeant Jovan Patagani lost his legs in their duty to become a great soldier of the Philippines. Given the accident, they remain strong in life to fulfill the needs of the family.

 

Corporal Reyes told the media in an episode of GMA's "Story of Hope" that when rebels ambush their territory in Davao Oriental in 2019, the M203 grenade launcher explodes in his hands.

 

In the other hand, Patagani and his troops were assisting victims of a thunder storm in the Compostella Valley in 2014 when the vehicle he was riding exploded, causing him to lose his legs.
