NCR cops help farmers plant rice in QC

Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Police Gen. Guillermo Eleazar lauded the National Capital Region Police Office’s (NCRPO) for helping the farmers of Sitio Bangkal, Bgy. Bagong Silangan, Quezon City in planting their crops as their outreach activity.

As part of their initiative which is the PALAYanihan or Rice Planting BARANGAYanihan project on Aug. 20, the NCRPO personnel helped farmers plant rice.

Because of this, the farmers were given a chance to spend quality time at home with their loved ones.

In addition, the NCR cops also gave food packs and health kits to around 500 families in the area.

The NCRPO also installed a water system to provide residents of Sitio Bangkal with clean water, under its NCRPO Simula ng Isang Bagong Oportunidad sa Lipunan or SIBOL “Well of Life” project.

“Saludo ako sa ating mga kapulisan na patuloy na tumutugon sa pangangailangan sa mga komunidad, bukod sa pagbibigay nila ng seguridad,” said Eleazar.
