Pinoy migrant worker and three Taiwanese indicted for growing and selling marijuana



Majcher Joseth Tolibas, a Filipino migrnt worker in Taiwan together with theee Taiwanese were indicated for growing and selling marijuana, reported by Central News Agency.


According to the indictment, the four were charged Thursday with contravening the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act by 
Taichung prosecutors.

Taiwanese men were identified as He and Sun and a Taiwanese woman surnamed Shen, the four personnel grow and produce marijuana at their rented residences in Taichung and Tainan.

With several months of investigation, the homes of Tolibas and Sun were raided on Feb. 20 by police, who acted on a tipoff received in November last year.


Cannabis plants, marijuana flowers and seeds, finished product and manufacturing equipment were seized. (Photo CNA)
