Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) unveiled its renovated tourist trains Friday at Taipei Main Station with designs from award-winning J.C. Architecture (JCA) firm.

TRA earn criticism when it announced to re-introduce last February the tourist trains which were "unappealing" and "hideous." After TRA unveils the new design, critics started to praise what the agency has done to make it more appealing.
