Winter is back! According to Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau, continental cold air mass intensifies starting Wednesday (Jan 8) and temperature will drop as low as 11 degrees celcius.
Northern and northeastern Taiwan will feel much colder specially in the morning. CWB also mentions possible snow fall of Hehuanshan and Yushan.
The next wave of cold air was reported this Sunday (Jan 12) with right amount of moisture, it is predicted that snow will fall by weekend.
Daytime high temperature is 26-28 degrees throughout the day as cold air mass lessen it by 3 to 4 degrees. Huge gap of temperature difference during daytime and night time.
