Taiwan's main carriers China Airlines and EVA Air to gradually return flight to Manila and Cebu


The Philippine government lifted the travel ban against Taiwan last Friday, Taiwanese carriers China Airlines and EVA Air said they will continue the current reduced flight services and gradually return back to normal.


China Airlines will update its flight services depending on the situation. EVA Air will maintain its current operations of two Taipei-Manila flights and one Taipei-Cebu flight per day.

Taiwan new carrier StarLux Airlines, will stick to its new flight date of July 1 instead of April with Taoyuan-Cebu route.

Meanwhile, Philippine Airlines (PAL) and budget airline Cebu Pacific (CebPac) will again flights to and from Taiwan after the Philippine government lifted the travel ban. AirAsia was still finalizing its flight schedule.


The Philippine government decided to lift the travel ban on Taiwan after a cabinet meeting on the Feb 14th.
