Earthquake hits Taiwan's Taitung 4 times in the last 7 hours today (April 27)


Taiwan's Central Weather Bureau (CWB) recorded four earthquakes in Taitung today (April 27) with two magnitude-4.3, magnitude-4.1 and magnitude 3.4.


Taitung starts shaking today at 13:51 with magnitude 4.1 epicenter at 11.0 km N of Taitung County Hall with focal length or depth of 28.7 km.

Followed by two magnitude-4.3 quake at 19:16 and 19:58 with epicenter at at 46.3 km and 46.5 km NNW of Taitung County Hall, both quake has a depth of 5km.

The magnitude-3.4 occur at 20:29 and ita epicenter is at 45.4 km NW of Taitung County Hall with depth of 5km, data showed by CWB.

CWB advised to keep calm and immediately act to protect yourself when an earthquake strike.
