5.7 magnitude earthquake rocks Japan in the midst of super typhoon Hagibis



Super typhoon Hagibis is recorded as the strongest typhoon in the past 61 years that went straight to Japan.


Chiba fas the first to bear the brunt of the typhoon and an unexpected 5.7 magnitude earthquate just occured. The earthquake occurred at 6:22pm, Japan time. 

The epicenter was in the southeastern part of Chiba Prefecture, with a depth of 80 kilometers and a maximum earthquake of 3 levels as the city of Tokyo also feel the shaking.


The earthquake was observed in Kamogawa City, Chiba and the earthquake was observed in several places, including Shimabara City and Funabashi City. 

Seismic 3 was also observed in Miyake-mura and Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa-ku, Yokohama-shi, Okinawa-shi, Yokohama-shi, Asahi-shi, Shizuoka-shi, Izuzu-cho, and Kawazu-cho.
