Taiwan ranked No.1 country in the world for expats according to the surveys of expats titled "The top 30 countries in the world to work, make friends, and raise a family in 2019.”
The survey was generated by Internations and released by Business Insider. Rounding up the top 10 are Vietnam (2nd), Portugal (3rd), Mexico (4th), Spain (5th), Singapore (6th), Bahrain (7th), Ecuador (8th), Malaysia (9th) and the Czech Republic (10th).
20,000 expats living in 187 countries and regions made the survey to rate different aspects of their lives while living and working abroad.
Factors included in the survey were cost of living, quality of medical care, and ease of making local friends. There were at least a minimum of 40 respondents in each country.
