Taiwan puts Philippines to its highest travel warning, Level 3: Mandatory quarantine


Taiwan puts Philippines and 19 other countries with a Level-3 warning, meaning that passengers arriving from those areas must undergo a 14-day quarantine, announced by Central Epidemic Command Center.


Taiwan has 10 more imported cases because the pandemic outside of Taiwan has continually expanded.

A Level-3 warning has been 19 Asian countries, including Japan, Singapore, North Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, East Timor, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, India, and the Maldives.

Taiwanese travelers should avoid all unnecessary travel to the above-mentioned countries and regions. While those inbound to Taiwan requires mandatory quarantine.

Philippines currently recorded 187 coronavirus cases and still surging as the country is under enhance community quarantine.
