Street sweeper, farmer, won lotto for jackpot of more than P100-million each

A female street sweeper from Malabon, and a farmer from Quezon separately won P100 million each in the lottery of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

In a statement released by the PCSO, it was said that the street sweeper had already covered his winnings of P103,269,281.60 after hitting the combination of numbers that appeared in the MegaLotto 6/45 draw.

PCSO said the street sweeper could not believe it, who knelt down and cried when she found out that she won more than P100 million prize.

Based on information given, the woman allegedly worked as a street sweeper for 25 years and her husband did not have a permanent job.

In a separate statement by the PCSO, it was said that the sole winner from General Luna, Quezon also covered his winnings of P100,064,568.00.

The prize comes from hitting the numbers in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw.

According to the statement, the 29-year-old farmer said he hit the numbers that came out through the “lucky pick” system.
