Taiwan's MXIC to give NT$10,000 each to its employees for its 30th founding anniversary


Macronix International Co (MXIC) is one of Taiwan's leading memory chipmakers and now celebrating its 30th founding anniversary, in return it will give NT$10,000 each to its employees as bonus.


The bonuses reflect the company's gratitude for the contribution made by its employees and support from the employees' families, according to Macronix Chairman Wu Miin-chyou.

Macronix, which mainly produces Nor Flash and NAND Flash memory chips used in storage, will pay a total of NT$40 million in bonuses based on its 4,000-person workforce.


Macronix has already secured orders and demads for chips used in 5G base stations from customers in China, Japan and South Korea.

Macronix was established in 1989 in the Science Park, Hsinchu, Taiwan. Since its inception, Macronix is dedicated to developing top-notch home-grown technologies and improving its manufacturing capability to offer its customers high quality products and services.
