Snow fell on Taiwan's Hehuanshan, Yushan and Xueshan as cold surge hit the country


Snow fell in mountainous areas of Taiwan as the first cold surge of the winter season hit the country along with abundant moisture, accordimg to Central Weather Bureau.


10 centimeters of snow was recorded on Yushan and Hehuanshan and there was a light dusting of snow on Xueshan.

Daytime temperatures ranging from 14-15 degrees Celsius in northern Taiwan and 16-21 degrees in the rest of the country according to CWB.

CWB also releases cold warnings to 16 cities and counties in Taiwan with temperature can go down below 10 degrees. (Photos LTN)
