Philippines to iron out talks to South Korea to let Pinoys enter the country visa-free

Philippine government will try to iron out talks to South Korean government if they can grant Filipinos visa-free entry.

According to Philippine Ambassador to South Korea Albano Wong, Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte will visit South Korea for the 2019 ASEAN Summit and will discuss it to South Korean officials regarding the visa free entry.

Currently, a visa is mandatory for Filipino travelers in order to visit the country. It is not possible to obtain a visa upon arrival and is subject for approval.

One main reason why South Korea still ignoring the visa free entry of Filipinos to their country is that they overstay and work undocumented or unregistered.

Undocumented migrant workers in South Korea already has high number and anyone must follow proper working rules which is primarily under government to government hiring.
