The cold air mass intensifies again with the lowest temperature this morning appeared at 10.4 degrees in Shimen, New Taipei City according to Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
Apart from New Taipei, Taoyuan, Hsinchu and Miaoli are under cold yellow warning. The yellow warning means anytime the temperature can drop below 10 degrees, per CWB.

CWB pointed out that the low temperature north of Taiwan and the northeast will be 12 to 13 degrees, with coastal and open areas to reqch below 10 degrees.
Chances of snow fall at Taiwan mountain with 3,000 above sea level may occur, like in Yushan and Hehuanshan mountain.
The cold air mass will start to weaken by Monday (20th) and from Tuesday (21st) it is a warm weather pattern with large temperature differences between day and night.
