Notice of warning posted in a Hsinchu hospital due to a patient has supected virus from China


A suspected case of Wuhan pneumonia virus in Hsinchu?  A netizen in Taiwan posted a photo on Facebook group claiming that a case of Wuhan pneumonia was suspected to occur at Mackay Memorial Hospital Hsinchu Branch.


The notice posted announced that anyone should wear a mask when entering or leaving the hospital.  The patient is believed to have returned to Taiwan on a flight from Wuhan three days ago, UDN reported.

Regulations on the prevention and control of infectious diseases, all official announcements about suspected cases must go through the CDC until test results are confirmed, according to the director of Hsinchu City Department of Medical Affairs.
