Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen expressed her condolences to NBA superstar Kobe Bryant who pass away together with her daughter in a helicopter crash in Los Angeles.
The president added that Bryant, was an inspiration to Taiwanese basketball players. The National Basketball Association (NBA) is an enormous draw in Taiwan.
“Kobe inspired a generation of young Taiwanese basketball players, & his legacy will live on through those who loved him," Tsai wrote on microblogging site twitter.
Bryant, 41, and his daughter Gigi were expected for a basketball game scheduled which Gianna was expected to play in the game and Bryant was expected to coach, also with them are 7 more others. No one survived the crash.
