Seen from the Facebook post of SM Markets are the pictures of three men namely Brainard Tabije, Jed Dizon and Mico Ramos. These guys are now employees with autism.
The post has a caption of: “Be sure to give your warmest hello to our AutiSM at Work participants who are #HappyToServe at SM Hypermarket Molino. This program is part of SM Markets’ advocacy to provide equitable opportunities for persons with autism (PWAs) and nurture a culture of workplace inclusion in partnership with Autism Society Philippines.”

“Participants in the program (3 PWAs for every store) are assigned various tasks in the supermarket selling area, such as returning stray items, organizing carts and baskets, and assisting customers. Simultaneously, there is an in-store advocacy campaign to help educate customers on how to deal respectfully with their workers with autism" they added.
Defy convention, people with autism are slowly becoming productive members of society as more and more companies have started hiring them for various positions for the past year.
