Gardenia Opens Manufacturing Plant In Pampanga, Will Produce 400k Breads Daily

Gardenia opens its fully automated bread manufacturing facility in Pampanga after it recently open its another manufacturing site in Mindanao. According to gardenia president, Jun Umali, the plant inauguration theme is “Bake to the Future 2.0”.


"The whole plant is computer-controlled starting from the use of an upgraded concept in the ingredient handling and makeup systems, proofing, use of robotics in handling baking pans and a unique technology in the depanning process which promises to be gentle to the bread, completely untouched by human hands," Umali said.

"All equipment, machines and baking technologies are sourced from the best baking equipment suppliers from all over the world including Germany, the Netherlands, Japan and the U.S.A. We also added new equipment suppliers that will enhance the whole baking process,” he added.

The Pampanga plant is producing good selection of bread such as white breads, health bread selections, flavored loaf offerings, buns or pandesal, and Neubake loaf and bread rolls.

The Pampanga plant will be able to produce nearly 400,000 loaves and buns every day that are ready for delivery. The breads produced in Pampanga will supply the North Luzon and can support supply in NCR and South Luzon.

Gardenia plant in Pampanga is designed like the plant in Laguna where consumers can visit and witness the modern break making process by a catwalk plant tour.

Gardenia plant is located in Teco industrial estate in Mabalacat, Pampanga with strategically located newr North Luzon Expressway and Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway. The opening manufacturing sites of Gardenia is a significant milestone in its 21yrs in Philippine bakery industry.
