Taiwan’s Hello Kitty train is back!
The Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) announced that a Hello Kitty tourist theme train will re-introduce to service. The TRA Hello Kitty themed train will make a trip around Taiwan once a day, the same train carried 55,000 passengers last year.
The themed train can be one of the best travel option for tourists travelling Taiwan. There will be an additional six carriages that will have new decorations that will feature Taiwanese foods, plants and animals.
The remodeling of this project is in collaboration with TRA, ezTravel and Sanrio Company. TRA announced that the exterior of the train up to the equipment are redesigned on a new Hello Kitty theme. Check below rendered photos from the last Hello Kitty theme train.
The train will be decorated in different design from in and out of the train, passengers may feel free to explore the exciting details that includes Hello Kitty seatbacks and serving carts with Hello Kitty boxed meals.
According to TRA, it has met its revenue expectation on the tourist Hello Kitty train the last time they implement it as Taiwan’s TRA and Sanrio managed to continue their contract. TRA will announce the train schedule once the remodeling of the train is finished.
