Eating of wild animals like bat, rat and wolves in China seen as one cause of the virus outbreak


Eating and exposure to wild animals seen as part of the virus outbreak that started in Wuhan, China which is now considered as ground zero, several media reported.


Coronaviruses are zoonotic diseases, meaning they spread to people from animals. The virus is from the same family of viruses as Sars, which was passed to humans from bats by the masked pam civets, and Mers, which was carried from bats to humans by camels.
