Taiwan ranked 32nd in the world for strongest passport, Philippines at 76th up a notch


Taiwan ranked 32nd with the strongest passport in the world while Philippines is at 76th according to British consultancy firm Henley and Partners.


The Philippines has moved up a notch in the world’s most powerful passport ranking. Filipinos are now allowed to travel to 67 destinations visa-free, placing the country at the 76th spot in the global ranking.

The firm ranks 199 passports in terms of the number of countries their holders can enter without prior visa approval, based on data provided by the Air Transport Association (ATA).

Japan retained the top spot for the third year, second place was Singapore, followed by South Korea, Germany, Italy, Finland, Spain, Luxembourg, Denmark, and Sweden, to round out the top 10.
