DOH records 152 new cases, total now at 3,246


The Department of Health announced on Sunday (April 5), 152 new cases of COVID-19 moving the total infections to 3,246 in the country.


The DOH also said in its 4p.m. bulletin that there are seven newly recovered patients bringing a total of 64 recoveries. On the other hand, the death toll rose to 152 after recording eight additional fatalities.

Yesterday, the department reported 76 new cases, the lowest in a week marked with daily three-digit spikes in the number of new coronavirus infections.

DOH also pleads everyone to cooperate and follow coronavirus prevention guidelines to help contain the disease.
