Temperature in Taiwan will play around 10°C to 14°C due to approaching cold air mass that is forecast to arrive in Taiwan that will last until Saturday morning (Dec 28), according to Central Weather Bureau.
Hsinchu and Miaoli's mountainous areas and coastal open areas are more likely to be 10 degrees. CWB is also expected to issue a low temperature yellow light warning.
Daytime temperatures in central Taiwan Friday will range between 15 degrees and 25 degrees, while in southern parts of the island, the mercury will hover around 16-26 degrees.
Most of Taiwan will see partly cloudy or sunny skies, with sporadic showers also expected but the CWB did warn of a wide day-night temperature gap.
