Taiwan's Christmasland listed in The 50 Best Christmas Markets In The World

Taiwan's Christmasland has been named among the 50 best Christmas Markets in the world by Big 7 Travel, an international travel site.

Christmas markets are described as a quick city break to get some shopping in, have a few drinks and soak up the festive delights. Christmasland in New Taipei is currently sitting at 46th spot.

"You’ll find one of the best Christmas markets in the world in Taipei, a buzzing winter playground for people of all ages. A huge urban square transforms with a gala light show that creates a fairy tale-like experience out of the country’s tallest Christmas trees, fun-packed rides and local vendors," written by Big 7 Travel.

"This year’s theme is ‘Santa Bear’s Magical Town’, with romantic light tunnels, cute animal cafes and a glimmering winter forest light installation," they added.

The top 5 are Christkindlmrkt in Washington,
Birmingham’s Frankfurt Christmas Market in England, Zagreb Advent in Croatia, Christmas Village Belvedere Palace in Austria and Stellenbosch Slow Market in South Africa.

How to get there?
From Taipei Main Station, ride Taipei MRT Blue Line (Bannan Line) going to Dingpu and drop off at Banquiao station.
