A lot of Filipinos choose to work outside the Philippines for better pay and have better living, before anything else aspiring OFWs must complete a long list of requirements.
Applicants who are serious in getting an overseas job are advised to prepare the needed documents beforehand so their deployment will not be delayed in case the job opening is urgent.
Below are the usual documents needed to apply for a job abroad:
1. Resume with detailed job description
2. Valid Philippine Passport (Passport is valid for at least six months prior to travel date)
3. School Credentials which includes High School or College Diploma; Post Graduate Diploma if applicable; Transcript of Records (TOR)
4.Valid Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) ID (if only necessary)
5. Certificate of Employments (COE)
6. Training/Seminar Certificates or TESDA Certificate (if applicable)
7. Valid NBI Clearance (for travel abroad)
8. Valid Identification Card such as Unified-Multipurpose ID (UMID), Voter's ID, TIN ID,Postal ID
9. Valid Police Clearance and Barangay Certificate
Those who are ex-abroad must show their ID's used abroad such as Alien Residence Certificate (ARC), past working VISA and others.
