11-year old boy sells socks for medical expenses of sick father in Taoyuan


An 11-year-old boy living in Taiwan in the middle school sells socks in order to raise his father's medical expenses, also rent and living expenses.


The boy had to work right after his school class and went to the street to sell socks alone, as Taiwan netizens hopes that they cam help the boy and his father.

The father of boy is suffering from cirrhosis, ascites and diabetes. For them to have a living the boy decided to sell socks and sit on the streets almost four hours everyday even he is alone.


The socks costs 10 yuan, 50 yuan, or even 100 yuan, depends on quality and quantity per price.

If willing to help or just in need a pair of socks, the location of the boy is at No. 88, Section 2, Xingren Road, Zhongli District in Taiwan's Toayuan where he sell socks at 4:30 pm to 8 pm on weekdays and 4:30 pm to 9 pm.
